According to him, the cooperation could be expanded because Nepal can be an entry point for Indonesian products in the South Asian region.

"We've done an assessment and have met with the Director General of Customs, and Central Bank of Nepal. They welcomed us. We can take advantage of this opportunity to market our national products in Nepal," he said.

Bagya said Nepal had also suggested opportunities for Government to Government cooperation.

A Nepali businessman, Rabi Chandra Singh, said he is exploring business opportunities with Indonesian businessmen in the fertilizer industry, petrochemical products, as well as defense and security equipments.

"I am also very interested in the Indonesian aircraft industry," he said.

Singh, who serves as the Director of RR Enterprises, a private company which controls a number of business areas in Nepal and South Asia, welcomed the cooperation opportunities offered by Indonesia.
