Smokes covered the front page of today's Republika newspaper, Thursday, 8th October edition. It caused the page difficult to read.
"Today, Republika is different, as a form of sympathy for the victims of smoke. We want to show our attitude to strongly push that the smoke issues can be addressed more seriously," said Deputy Chief Editor of Republika, Irfan Junaidi, Thursday (8/10).
In today edition, he continued, Republika wanted to also give a bit of experience to the readers about how difficult to see the news in the middle of thick smoke, also how hard to look at life around us as the smoke never subsides.
"It was just a small part the difficulties faced by victims of smoke. In addition there are many other difficulties, which can even lead to death," he added.
