Forming cyber agency, govt shall free from foreign intervention

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA –- Cyber security expert, Pratama Persadha, said that government must be free from foreign intervention in the formation of national cyber agency.

"In this digital era, role and authority of the national cyber agency will be very large and strategic. We need the government's appreciation that insists there is no foreign intervention,"said Pratama, Wednesday (26/8).

National cyber agency will not only coodinate the relevant institutions related to cyber security, but also will be guardian for Indonesia sovereignty in cyber world.

"With a number of internet users  that reached more than 80 million people, Indonesia must form strong cyber agent that is free from foreign interests. So that state data and vital information can’t easily to steal,” he explained.
