REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- A member of Commission III of DPR, Arsul Sani, reminded the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (Kemenkominfo) to act more serious in dealing with cases of child pornographic videos.

He said, the rules in the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) should really be used as a reference while investigating the case.

"Kemenkominfo should be more serious in handling cases of child pornographic videos. Beside to immediately blocked it, there should be more selective sweep against similar content in porn sites," said Arsul when contacted by ROL, on Thursday, May 28.

It considered, Kemenkominfo did not do maximum efforts to deal with cases of child pornographic videos. He said the control of porn sites in general also needs to be improved.

"The intensity of blocking pornographic sites should be increased. Do not just do the blocking at certain times only, "he added.

As is known, pornographic video involving a pair of allegedly five-year-old children is circulated widely on social media and cell phones (mobile phones). In the video, they were seen being demonstrated sex scenes in the style of adultery.

The 4 minutes and 3 seconds video also show the children just following the orders of other adult who recorded the scene.
