Court cancels Ministry's decision on Golkar’s dispute

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Judge Teguh Satya Bhakti who led the trial related to the management dispute of Golkar Party in the State Administrative Court (PTUN) decided to grant partial claim of Golkar Party of Aburizal Bakrie’s camp, on Monday, May 18.

"The court decide to grant partial claim of the plaintiff (Aburizal Bakrie’s camp), and to declare void the decree of Minister of Law and Human Rights," said Chief Judge of State Administrative Court, Teguh Satya Bhakti on the trial of a lawsuit related to the management dispute of Golkar Party in the State Administrative Court, Jakarta, on Monday, May 18.

The judges of state administrative court who adjudicate Golkar case, the Chief Judge Teguh Satya Bhakti, as well as two members of the judges, Subur and Tri Cahya Indra Permana. They concluded that to require the Defendant (Ministry of Law and Human Rights) to withdraw decree which authorizing the management of Agung Laksono’s camp.

While Agung Laksono’s camp claim was rejected, it was required to pay the cost of administrative court litigation.

The verdict was based on several considerations, including expert witnesses presented by both sides. In most of the statements of the expert witnesses, said that decision of Court of Golkar Party is still odd. With it, Minister of Law and Human Rights should not have issued a decree related to the management of the legitimate from the Golkar Party.

Attorney of Aburizal Bakrie, Yusril Ihza Mahendra said, with the decision of the administrative court, management Golkar will back to the results of National Congress in Riau.
