REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian government will launch the National One-Stop Service (PTSP) to ease the issuance process of business licenses, starting January 2015, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) noted here on Thursday.

"The PTSP will be started this month. No more delays in permit issuance. Maximum three months," Jokowi stated.

Earlier, Chairman of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Franky Sibarani said that in preparation for the implementation of the PTSP by January-end 2015, as planned by President Jokowi, he claimed to continue building synergy with the concerned ministries and improving the system.

"A contact center will also be opened to service investors abroad," he remarked.

The contact center is expected to become operational in January to help investors obtain information.

Franky explained that the integration of the licensing process with the concerned ministries and institutions will be implemented in two stages as of January 2015, while the integration with the provinces and districts is expected to come into effect in 2016.
