REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia Police Watch stated that Indonesian National Police contributed to high external debt. The total police external debt reaches 35 trillion IDR, including 984 billion IDR of soft loan from South Korea.

"The police has even planned to make a new debt around 22.5 trillion IDR," President of Indonesia Police Watch Neta Sanusi Pane said on Sunday, November 23.

The planned loan will be used for credit export project 2015-2019 as cited in the Explanation of Project from Police Debt.

Pane asked government to evaluate the credit export project. "The Government under President Joko Widodo must audit the procurement project within police department. The we will know which one is useful and which one is stalled," he said.
