REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The daughter of former Indonesian president Soeharto, Siti Hediati Hariyadi, popularly known as Titiek Soeharto appreciated her former husband, Prabowo Subianto in the economic debate held in Grand Melia Hotel, Jakarta on Sunday evening.
She said that Prabowo's explanation was very easy to be understood.
"The debate is very good, his answers too. Hopefully it can be accepted by Indonesian people," Titiek said on Sunday as reported by C81.
According to her, the No. 1 presidential candidate was looked different compared to the first debate held in Sarbini Hall on Monday, June 9. Prabowo more enjoyed and relaxed in answering all questions. The two competing presidential candidates, Prabowo and Joko Widodo (known as Jokowi) focused on people-based economy.
Titiek said that Prabowo's mission and vision were clear and concrete, especially regarding to economic development and social welfare. The Golkar party politician also hopes that public can know the mission and vision of Prabowo-Hatta.
"People know who is the best figure of president," she said.
