REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Agriculture sector contributed as the main support for the economic growth in the draft of 2013 State Budget, said the State Minister for National Development Planning Armida Alisjahbana. "The key for next year is agriculture and followed by processing industry," she said on Friday.
The production of agriculture contributes 3.7 percent of economic growth in the second quarter of 2012. With the target towards 10 million tonnes rice surplus in 2014, government drafted the 2013 State Budget and Government Working Plan by prioritizing agriculture, including the infrastructure for food security.
Processing industry is also expected to increase about 6.5 percent. "It includes oil and gas," she said.
