REPUBLIKA CO.ID., JAKARTA - The subsidiary of Pertamina, Pertamina EP, claimed that they inflict billion IDR of losses due to crude oil looting in Tempino pipe line, Jambi, to Plaju, South Sumatera. Pertamina EP loses more than 100,000 barrels of oil.

The company had reported the incident to the authorities, the Public Relation of Pertamina EP, Agus Amperianto, said. "Unfortunately, they have not conducted any real act," he said in a press release on Monday.

The state also inflicts some losses as the state income from the production of crude oil can lose. Government, through Indonesia's Upstream Oil and Gas Executive Agency (BPMIGAS), mandates the production of crude oil to Pertamina EP.
