REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The North Jakarta police raided 141 people suspected in gay prostitution event called "the Wild One", Sunday (May 21). They were nabbed at a shophouse belonged to PT Atlantis Jaya at Kokan Permata Blok B 15-16, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta at around 19:30 pm.
"We have secured a number of people and they are still undergoing examination," North Jakarta Police Chief Comr Dwiyono said to Republika.co.id on Monday.
According to the police, tickets enterance to the the club are sold Rp 185 thousand. The guests are welcomed to use fitness facilities on the first floor.
Meanwhile, on the second floor, there was a striptease show with four exhibitioners. "The third floor of the shophouse was used as spa and sexual activities," head of operations, North Jakarta Police Criminal Unit Nasriadi explained in a text message.
The police have named four people as suspected porn business provider as they violated Article 30 Jo Article 4 Paragraph 2 of the Pornography Law.
Six striptease dancers and alleged prostitutes are theathened with Article 36 Jo Article 10 of Law No. 4 of 2008 on Pornography.
The police have secured evidences in the form of contraceptives such as condoms, enterance tickets, CCTV recordings, copies of documents, striptease tip money, advertising events and mobile phones used to broadcast the event.
