Sumarsono said he would keep spirits to remove the banner in order to maintain peace and order in Jakarta. "The provincial government will not lose the spirit to bring down provocative banners and ethnic, religious, racial and social group (SARA) sentiments for the sake of maintaining peace and order," Sumarsono said at City Hall, Jakarta, Thursday (March 16).

Sumarsono explained that banners the most in the area of West Jakarta as many as 113 pieces. "As many as 95 banners in East Jakarta, 68 banners in Central Jakarta, 32 banners In North Jakarta, seven banners in Seribu Islands, and 78 banners in South Jakarta. Most banners in West Jakarta and East Jakarta. We disciplined and will continue," he said.

In addition, removal of banners in Cengkareng, West Jakarta banners had experienced rejection from residents. Jakarta provincial government still wanted to perform persuasive approach to the residents and community leaders in order to control the banners. "So. I think if rejection occurred, it's about approach," Sumarsono said.

The residents, Sumarsono said, must understand that the Jakarta provincial government has the duty to keep the atmosphere of Jakarta to be safe, comfortable, and not be provoked by these banners.
