Indonesia wins four tittles in badminton's Indonesia Master

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG - Indonesia won four badminton champion titles at the Yonex Sunrise Indonesian Masters championship in Palembang, South Sumatra, ending on Sunday.

The only champion title that Indonesia lost was the men's single title when the country's player Firman Abdul Kholik surrendered to fifth-seeded player from India, Prannoy HS, 11-21, 20-22 in 43 minutes in the final round.

Indonesia won four champion titles following all Indonesian finals in the women's single, men's double, women's double and mixed double events. Adrianti Firdasari won the women's single title after beating fellow country player Ruselli Hartawan 21-14, 21-14 in 33 minutes.

Sheny Puspa Irawati pairing with Vita Marissa won the women's double champion title after defeating fourth-seeded pair Keshya Nurvita Hanadia/Devi Tika Permatasari 23-21, 21-13.

In the mixed double event Riky Widianto/Puspita Richi Dili beat Muhammad Rijal pairing with Vita Marissa 21-18, 21-19 to win the champion title.

In the men's double even Gideon Markus Fernaldi meanwhile grabbed the champion title only after being able to overcome Selvanus Geh/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo in a rubber set 21-17, 20-22, 21-15.
