REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State owned toll operator PT Jasa Marga posted revenue of 4.485 trillion IDR in June 2014. This value declined 5.7 percent compared to 4.76 trillion IDR in June 2013.

The decline was caused by lower revenue from construction sector, from 1.82 trillion IDR in June 2013 to 1.05 trillion IDR in June 2014. Meanwhile, the toll revenue and other operating income grew steadily.

Based on the company's financial statement at Indonesia's Stock Exchange (IDX) on Wednesday, revenue from toll sector had a lion share to the company's revenue in total. The value reached 3.173 trillion IDR or 70.7 percent from total revenue.

"Other operating revenues also increased from 154.7 billion IDR to 259.19 billion IDR," said company's representative.

Despite the decline, Jasa Marga still posted an increase in operating profit of 10 percent or 1.585 trillion IDR. It was driven by decreasing operating expenses, from 3.319 trillion IDR to 2.699 trillion IDR.

Total comprehensive income for the year reached 740.93 billion IDR or increased 1.48 percent compared to 730.066 billion IDR in 2013. Earning per share also rose from 111.96 IDR to 119.35 per share. In the first half year, cash and cash equivalent of Jasa Marga reached 3.4 trillion IDR, while total debt 18.722 trillion IDR. The equity stood at 11.1 trillion IDR.
