Muamalat financing reaches 41.6 trillion IDR

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG - PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia recorded a total financing in 2013 worth 41.6 trillion IDR (unaudited). Bank Muamalat's Retail Banking Director, Adrian A Gunadi said that the figure increased 26.4 percent year on year.

Small medium enterprises (SMEs) and consumer financing was still the highest figure or about 70 percent, while 30 percent was corporate financing. Special consumer financing also recorded high growth of 14.2 trillion. Gunadi said the company to increase the figure up to 16.4 trillion IDR this year from total of 200 thousand customers.

Head of Retail Finance Division in Bank Muamalat, Oktaviani Moersalin said that current number of retail customers reached 3.8 million customers. It will be increased to 10 percent or 4.6 million customers this year. he also expected the growth of 20 percent of minimum transaction.

Total deposits of retail customers in Bank Muamalat reached 20 trillion IDR (unaudited). This figure was about 40 percent of total deposits of Bank Muamalat.
