REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Islamic Economic Study Circle (Lisensi) launches the first android application for Islamic economy in Indonesia. The application, named "sharee-sharia economics education", is expected to bring Indonesian more familiar to Islamic economy.
"The fast development of Islamic economy urges innovation," the content management of the application, Asep Saepullah, said last week. He hopes the application can educate people on the unique of sharia economy.
He said that the application was in line with the objective of Bank Indonesia, which was to educate people on Islamic banking. Continuous education on sharia economy will improve people understanding and increase sharia market target in Indonesia.
The application has three main contents; dictionary, article, and new information of Islamic economy. The dictionary contains terms of Islamic economy. The article comprises research and paper of sharia, while the information consists of the latest update of sharia from mass media.
The application is made by three students from UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. They are Lutfi Haris as developer, Asep Saepullah as content management and Ridha Danjanny also as content management.
