REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) sent its humanitarian delegation to Rakhine, Myanmar, on Monday. Besides providing humanitarian aids, the delegation, led by Secretary of PKS Faction Abdul Hakim, is also expected to open a dialog with religious figures and organizations in Myanmar.

"The delegation completes the effort made by previous delegation. Not only providing aids and building Muslim solidarity, we will also initiate the dialog with Buddhist figures and several organizations," Abdul Hakim said in a press release.

The delegation, staying in Myanmar until 13 September, will meet Buddhist figures and some local organizations to talk on the settlement of ethnic conflict."PKS through its Faction in House of Representatives will struggle to end Rohingya conflict in Myanmar," he said.

Earlier on August, PKS sent its first delegation. They called for Myanmar to open access for aid for refugees in Rakhine/Arakan.
