REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) is urged to be more transparent in providing information to its investors due to Monday's trading disruption. The Minister of Finance Agus Martowardojo said on Tuesday that IDX should avoid a repeat of problem.

"If the information is not clear, how can the investors know the problem?" Martowardojo said on Tuesday.

Martowardojo observed the IDX directly to see the latest condition in bourse. He said that IDX had made some efforts to repair the trading system than the trading transaction on Tuesday ran normally.

"I wanted to ensure that the bourse can give credible information should the problem appear," he said.
