Balinese spa treatment and massage are apparently popular in Russia. Russians are willing to spend their 100-400 USD to bask the touch of well trained therapist.
"Balinese spa beats the popularity of other massages, like shiatsu," Indonesian Ambassador to Russia, Djauhari Oratmangun, said on Thursday.
Currently, there are at least 400 therapists of Balinese spa in Russia spread in Moscow, St Petersburg, and Vladivostok. This little pleasure has grown since five years ago.
The therapists are officially imported through Sim Krasok Company coordinated with the Minister of Manpower and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.
The Minister of Women's Empowerment Linda Agum Gumelar last week said to the Ambassador that she supported the growth of Balinese Spa business in Russia. Yet, she asked the Indonesian therapists to maintain their reputation.
