Imam Shamsi Ali condemns mass shooting in Las Vegas

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NEW YORK -- Nusantara Foundation condemned the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, which has left more than 59 people dead and 527 more injured in what is now the deadliest shooting in the US history.

Although authorities have not yet decided whether this was an act of terror, there is no question that it is terror and its perpetrator is an evil terrorist. The attack has take many innocent lives and traumatized hundreds of others. 

So what else if it is not a terror? said Imam Shamsi Ali, President Nusantara Foundation in a press release received by Republika.co.id, on Wednesday.

Our heart felt condolence to the victims and their loved ones, and we pray for the full recovery of all those injured," he added.

As our nation mourns this heartbreaking tragedy, we urge all Americans to stand firm and united with their neighbors against acts of senseless violence," he warned.

This event is just another strong for the people to come together and courageous enough to address the underlying causes if it in the days ahead. 

Nusantara Foundation prays for the US leaders to open their minds and hearts and take all necessary steps to stop this from being happening again.
