Gay and bisexual men more likely to get HIV

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Same-sex couples from the gay group and bisexual men had the highest risk for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in the United States (US).

Gay and bisexual men population in US reached 2 percent of the population. Quoted from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) United States of HIV which is located at www.cdc.gov, 30 percent of gay and bisexual men group in young age (13-24 years) has infected with HIV.

In late 2011, at least 500.022 or 57 percent of people was diagnosed HIV. In that time, 311.087 gay and bisexual men who diagnosed with AIDS were died.

Group of lesbian gay bisexual and transgender (LGBT) increasingly exist in the US after the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) that legalized same-sex marriage in all the states on June 28, 2015. There were 14 states that still prohibit same-sex marriage.
