Indonesia's pavilion books US$5.16 million transaction in Cairo

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CAIRO -- The Indonesian pavilion has recorded a transaction worth US$5.16 million in the Cairo International Fair 2015, an embassy spokesman said.

"The value of the trade transaction through the Indonesian pavilion in the Cairo fair stood at US$5.16 million," Social and Cultural Affairs Coordinator of the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo Windratmo Suwarno said here Thursday night.

The exposition which was held at the Nasr City's Fair Ground of Cairo lasted for 10 days until Friday, March 27, 2015.

A total of 17 companies joined the Indonesian pavilion which carried a theme "Remarkable Indonesia". They consisted of 10 companies from Indonesia, two Egyptian-Indonesian joint ventures and seven Egyptian firms importing goods from Indonesia.

Indonesian Ambassador to Egypt Nurfaizi Suwandi said Indonesia always had the commitment to take part in the Cairo International Fair.
