REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TASIKMALAYA -- Social Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa asked the regional government to be active in updating the data of poverty in their regions. It was important to realize better data updating on poverty, so the poverty alleviation programs would be on target.

Khofifah said Social Ministry had an Integrated Social Data Confirmation and Information System (Siskada Satu). By using the system, the ministry had gotten the update of data on poverty per December 9, 2016 and March 27, 2017. It was collected from all cities and regions in Indonesia. However, the regional governments were encouraged to always update the data on Siskada Satu.

"We want to give a confirmed data, for example the valid and the invalid data, please confirmed by the regional government, so any aids would be on target,” said her in a visit to Tasikmalaya on Sunday (April 30).

She hoped that the regional government through its social department did not only wait the data requested by central government, but actively collecting and confirming the data.

Khofifah said she was realized that the poverty rates would always changed in accordance to its factors. Social ministry would update the data twice per year.

"The data is not invalid, but it always changing. We give six months to confirm it and it should be closed on May. Please checked the data, we would update it on November,” said her.
