REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - The Speaker of Indonesian House of Representatives, Marzuki Alie, plans to adopt the son of the late Palestinian commander of Hamas, Ahmed al-Jabari. Jabari when Israeli started operation 'Pillar of Cloud' in November 2012.

"He seems smart and nice," Alie said on Thursday. 

Alie said that Al-Jabari was a great commander who struggled in jihad fi sabilillah. Thus, other Muslims are obliged to take care of his family. 

Currently, the son of Al-Jabari, Mu'min Al-Jabari, studies in the third grade of high school in Gaza. When Alie visited Al-Jabari's house in Syija'iyah, Gaza, Palestine, he offered him to continue his study in Indonesia. "He seems to be proud of that and he is willing to do that," Alie said.

After Mu'min is graduated, he can go back to Palestine. "It depends on him. It is just a duty of a muslim and I love orphan," he said.
